My Son Has the DISH Network HD DVR
My son and daughter-in-law have a DISH Network ViP622 HD DVR, and they love it. It is a high-definition, digital video recorder receiver that really delivers better television. At least, that is what my kids tell me. I was raised with a black and white television that had no remote. At first, we used rabbit ears – no, not ears from a rabbit. Rabbit ears were a type of indoor antenna. I don’t know if they even sell them any more. Anyhow, they keep telling me I should switch from cable to DISH. I have to check out the financial aspect of it all before I decide. The ViP622 has the following features which would be nice to have: supports one HDTV and one SDTV; records up to 200 hours of SD, 30 hours of HD programming or a combination. There are other features which I don’t really understand, but you can look them up on the Internet.
